Tonedeff has released his Hunter EP, a third project in a series of efforts that make up his upcoming album, Polymer.
Glutton EP and Demon EP have come before this Hunter project. A fourth installment is set to follow.
“Polymer is about breaking myself down into fragments, so Hunter is me coming to terms with my own competitive nature in life,” Tone says about this set. “I’ve devoted most of my life in pursuit of this cultural idealism that has shaped me for better and for worse, so I needed to really deal with it in an honest way in a style I’m rooted in. These songs are the closest things to traditional ‘Boom Bap on the album’, yet synth-flavored.”
