TM88 made an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show to premiere a new song, but he ended up discussing some music fans will likely never hear.
The 808 Mafia member revealed he produced a bunch of Travis Scott and Young Thug collaborations, but the tracks aren’t going to be released since the two artists have moved on to different phases in their respective careers.
“We have a lot of songs with Travis and Young Thug on the same song, but it’s from an era where they was doing tours together and stuff,” TM88 told Lowe. “And you know the way Trav works, he’ll do a whole bunch of songs and be all into it at the time, and then nine months later, he’s recording a whole new type of vibe.”
He added, “I feel like if those songs would have came out, it would have changed the whole game. Like, the whole rap game ’cause it was different.”
TM88 also noted he created an entire project with PARTYNEXTDOOR that will never be released either.
“I got a joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR,” he said. “I don’t think it’s ever gonna see the light of day … One of our songs leaked and it was going crazy.”
The hit-making producer felt the collaborative record would’ve been made a significant impact too.
“I honestly think that would’ve been some different, some OVO meets 808 for the women,” he explained. “Just for the dudes, for the trap. It just would’ve been for everything because it was very melodic and trap at the same time. It was called Party At 8.”
While fans may be disappointed to learn about what they won’t hear, they can stream his new single “Hmmm” featuring Lil Yachty and Valee below.

Man forget speaking about and teasing that shit, just drop the records for the fans who might want to hear them shits….
This is backwards, “we made some dope shit but y’all never will hear it.” Then you wonder why leaks happen. This is a straight garbage way of communicating with listeners who actually appreciate your music. You will not last forever lil homie, release the music while you have the attention or miss out.
my question is why even bother recording let alone mentioning those joint collabs if you’re not drop them. how do we even know those records exist? neither Thug or Travis have ever spoken about the those collabs….safe to say TM88 is just seeking attention.
That’s a good thing right? Ain’t nobody wanna hear that shit
BRUH All this time I thought TM88 was Big Sean and his girl
Ahhhh.. Who Givezz A Fuck
