Producer TM88 wasn’t afraid to reveal what kind of mood he was in this week. On Friday (January 5), the 808 Mafia member took to Twitter to blast Atlantic Records for not properly compensating him for Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3” (one of HipHopDX’s Top Songs Of 2017). His rant follows reports accusing Atlantic of labeling albums as “mixtapes” in an effort to pay producers less.

“Fuck Atlantic….Mood at 8:08,” he wrote, referring to Lil Uzi’s new track.

He continued, “Atlantic still ain’t paid niggas shit! Never got paid for xo ballin off old checks. Thank you @AtlanticRecords for being the worst label in the history of fuck shit!”

Despite the label drama, the ATLien has clearly moved forward. Produced by TM88, “Mood” also features production from fellow beatsmiths Southside and Supah Mario.
