Producer TM88 wasn’t afraid to reveal what kind of mood he was in this week. On Friday (January 5), the 808 Mafia member took to Twitter to blast Atlantic Records for not properly compensating him for Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3” (one of HipHopDX’s Top Songs Of 2017). His rant follows reports accusing Atlantic of labeling albums as “mixtapes” in an effort to pay producers less.
“Fuck Atlantic….Mood at 8:08,” he wrote, referring to Lil Uzi’s new track.
He continued, “Atlantic still ain’t paid niggas shit! Never got paid for xo ballin off old checks. Thank you @AtlanticRecords for being the worst label in the history of fuck shit!”
Despite the label drama, the ATLien has clearly moved forward. Produced by TM88, “Mood” also features production from fellow beatsmiths Southside and Supah Mario.

Hey im a broke ass producer send me my royalties. Tweet Tweet Tweet
Thank yourself for signing a shit contract… Stop working for free fuck boi
Atlantic is fucked man signed and willing to pay dr phil girl yet cant pay quality producers and artists who put in work fuck atlantic but in hindsight you should learn how to read better though yea $250,000+ up front seems like the shit but then when they take 40% show royaltys and it takes you 5 years to work off that 1st advance your just sorta a dumbass and they sleep on a bed of cash educate yourself business worlds cut throat and nobody plays fair anymore
With that said I’ve never seen that kind of money so I’d probably do it myself, but I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Hmm actualy i believe my accountants last figure for this past year in my PERSONAL funds accumulated from 2017 im sitting somewhere around $325,000 how about you? 2016 was a nice $275,000 so suffice to say you got about 15 years to work to catch up on my 2 years at your $40,000 a year huh?
Who the hell am I talking to? I dunno! But I am DEFINITELY not insecure about my financial position.
