It’s been nearly two decades since Norfolk, Virginia producer Timbaland worked alongside Ginuwine as executive producer on his debut album, Ginuwine…The Bachelor. And it now appears that the duo will team up yet again for a project titled, Same Ol G.
Ginuwine revealed the news in a post added to his Instagram account last week. A caption for the singer’s post read: “Ginuwine 2015 SAME OL G produced by TIMBALAND.”
The Maryland crooner also posted several video trailers announcing his collaborative project with Timbo. Details on Same Ol G remain scarce, but according to Ginuwine’s Instagram post, the album will be released next year.
In 1998, Ginuwine released a single titled “Same Ol’ G.” The record was produced by Timbaland and appeared on the singer’s 100% Ginuwine album.
In the mid to late 90s, Ginuwine worked closely with Timbaland who also worked extensively with both Missy Elliott and Aaliyah at the time.

smh Should of never took this long.. that whole 550 crew with Timbo, Missy, Magoo, Gin, AAliya, Playa was tooo hard back then.. im still waiting on a Timbo and MIssy album.. Good to see Timbo back in the lab with Gin .. hope its like the old Timbo not that new techno boishit!
