The Weeknd appears to have a new woman in his life, and she just so happens to be a former pal of his ex-girlfriend.
The Toronto-bred superstar celebrated his 32nd birthday with a star-studded party at Delilah in Las Vegas on Saturday (February 19). Around 2 a.m., he was captured kissing Simi Khadra, one-half of the Instagram-famous twin duo Simi & Haze.
In a 24-second clip posted by TMZ, The Weeknd is seen holding a mic and dancing with Khadra while Michael Jackson‘s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'” plays through the speakers. He then leans in and makes out with his new muse.
Simi Khadra is a 29-year-old Palestinian-born DJ, influencer and entrepreneur. She and her twin sister, Haze, were once friends with supermodel Bella Hadid, who The Weeknd dated on-and-off between 2015 and 2019.
Abel Tesfaye and Khadra sparked dating rumors earlier this month when they were spotted enjoying a dinner date together at Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.
The Weeknd, who also dated pop star/actress Selena Gomez in 2017, was previously linked to Angelina Jolie. The Dawn FM hitmaker dined with the Hollywood megastar in Santa Monica twice last year, although their meetings were said to have been strictly business.
Simi Khadra wasn’t the only famous face in attendance at The Weeknd’s birthday bash. Drake, Future and fellow Canadian Kaytranada were also spotted at the casino-themed party, where Drizzy gave a toast to his “Crew Love” collaborator.
“I was there from day one,” he said. “And I’m grateful not only to be here with my brothers but grateful that family is back here together again, where we belong. From the greatest city in the world.”

Drake also took to Instagram on Monday (February 21) to celebrate his friendship with The Weeknd, sharing a slideshow of photos from the Vegas party with the caption, “We’ve done everything like it’s nothing … isn’t that something.”
