The Weeknd Announces ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Album Release Date & Special Show

The Weeknd has finally let the world know when Tomorrow really is, by announcing the release date for his upcoming album.

Hurry Up Tomorrow will be out on January 24, 2025, the singer announced on Wednesday (November 27). To celebrate, he will be putting on a “massive one-night-only live stadium show” at Pasadena, California’s famed Rose Bowl Stadium on the day after the album drops.

The show will, per a press release, be a “never-before-seen production” so massive that the stage will take over the whole stadium floor. Tickets will be available starting Monday, December 2 at 10am PST at TheWeeknd.com.

In addition, die-hard fans can visit XO.STORE to pre-order exclusive vinyl, box sets, and signed CDs — including a version of the new album artwork designed by legendary comic book artist Frank Miller.

The album will have a tie-in movie, a “psychological thriller” also titled Hurry Up Tomorrow that recently landed a distribution deal that will put the film into theaters worldwide.

According to a press release circulated at the beginning of this month, Lionsgate has secured the rights to the movie, which serves as an extension of the Toronto crooner’s forthcoming album of the same name.

This will mark Abel’s feature film debut, and he will also handle the score alongside Daniel Lopatin. Jenny Ortega and Barry Keoghan also star in the new movie.

In a statement, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said: “Abel is a visionary whose art cannot be confined by any single medium. With Hurry Up Tomorrow, in partnership with [director] Trey [Edward Shults], his musical universe expands onto the big screen with a psychological thriller that will usher in a new cinematic experience for fans. We are thrilled to be bringing it to audiences worldwide.”

The album Hurry Up Tomorrow will serve as the third and final installment in a trilogy that includes The Weeknd’s previous albums, 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM.

    1. If you’ve heard one Weeknd song, you’ve heard them all. What’s funny is his content, music, lyrics, and voice are proficient yet strongly mediocre but he still manages to think he’s the shit. He is the black Post Malone. Both are terrible actors. And he’s an above average Hallmark card with a hologram and a watermark.

      1. He didn’t even mention drake bitch.

Weeknd fell off big time. He could have just created ovoxo with drake but he choose to be a pop sellout instead.

      2. Whoa whoa shouldn’t you be kissing your daddy with that mouth you filthy ho? Because you said you do that weirdo shit 🤣 Irony of you calling him a POP sellout when that’s what Drake is, dumb son of a BITCH.

      3. @truth this b!tch ass n!gga crawls out of his fruity rat hole in the wall whenever his boyfriend Drake gets mentioned 😂

    2. Healthy competition is something that is recommended, but when it goes to personal levels, and disrespect for someone else’s work, disrespect for the time invested and the people behind each artist, that’s a different level of impudence that people don’t respect, you can say if you like it, it’s not legitimate, but getting down to personal levels because you admire another singer, that’s a very low level of attitude, for everyone who lives in LA, this is a rare opportunity to check out something new, you might even enjoy it or not, but you won’t be bored, check it out,
