This week, fans saw Game give love to Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” with his own version. Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz dropped their “We Own It (Fast & Furious)” cut and The-Dream teamed up with Jay-Z for “High Art.” Beyond this, fans heard a mash-up of Eminem and Red Hot Chilli Peppers with “Lost Under A Bridge (Mash-Up)” and Jay-Z stayed strong with his own “$100 Bill.”
Game Releases “Don’t Kill My Vibe (Freestyle)”
This week, Game announced his latest project, “Operation Kill Everything.” Hours passed and he revealed this freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” On the track, Game name-checks Lamar and gives props to Jay-Z, who was featured on the official remix. He also ends the verse with a nod to K. Dot saying, “Compton, West Side and I’m ridin’ with Kendrick.” The track features the original beat and chorus from Kendrick Lamar’s cut.
Wiz Khalifa Teams Up With 2 Chainz For “We Own It (Fast & Furious)”
Gearing up for the sixth installment of the Fast & Furious motion picture series, Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz linked up for “We Own It (Fast & Furious).” “We couldn’t slow down,” 2 Chainz says on the track. “This moment, we own it” adds Khalifa. The song features verses from both emcees. The film, Fast & Furious 6, will be out May 24.
The-Dream and Jay-Z Release “High Art”
Prepping for the release of his IV Play album, The-Dream unveiled his latest collaboration with the Jay-Z-assisted “High Art.” The song features The-Dream auto-tuning about his lifestyle with Mr. “D.O.A.” himself lending a verse. “My niggas don’t do traffic,” Jay-Z rhymes with The-Dream singing behind him. “How ironic, all we used to do was traffic.” As reported in early April, the song will be on IV Play, an album that is set to feature Beyonce and Big Sean as well.
