The Top 10 Hip Hop Singles Of The Week: Reek Da Villian, Jay Rock & Prof

    This week saw Reek Da Villian let loose his latest diss track aimed at North Carolina emcee J. Cole. Elsewhere, Jay Rock shared his newest single titled “Easy Bake” featuring Kendrick Lamar and SZA and lastly, Rhymesayers emcee Prof released the visuals for his latest single “Bar Breaker” exclusively on HipHopDX.

    Reek Da Villian Drops Off New J. Cole Diss Track

    Long Island, New York rapper Reek Da Villian recently released “Strong Island King,” a diss track aimed at J. Cole.

    The rapper, who is also known as Reek Lit Boy, says that he made the song after a friend showed him a video of J. Cole dissing Long Island at a recent stop at Madison Square Garden on the “Forest Hills Drive Tour.” Reek also says that he hopes J. Cole offers up a response.

    “I hope he respond,” Reek said during a recent interview with Forbez DVD. “I want him to respond because it’s Hip Hop, nigga. I’m ready for it. I’m not one of these new niggas.”

    Jay Rock Shares New Single “Easy Bake”

    Jay Rock premiered his new track “Easy Bake” over at Streetsweepers Radio with DJ Kay Slay earlier this week. The cut, which is set to feature on Jay Rock’s forthcoming 90059 album, features fellow TDE members Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

    Prof Premieres “Bar Breaker” Video On HipHopDX

    Rhymesayers emcee Prof let loose the visuals for his latest single “Bar Breaker” exclusively on HipHopDX earlier this week. The track is produced by Aesop Rock and is set to appear on Prof’s upcoming album, Liability, which is due out October 16.
