The Roots have booked another stacked lineup for their annual Roots Picnic.
Meek Mill, DaBaby, the entire Griselda crew, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon are among the artists scheduled to perform at this year’s edition, which takes place at The Mann at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on May 30.
Black Thought, Questlove and the band’s upcoming Roots Picnic will also feature a special soul section with Musiq Soulchild, SWV and Brandy. Other notable artists booked for the event include Summer Walker, Thundercat, Snoh Aalegra, Burna Boy, Buddy and SiR.
Beyond music, The Read podcast and CRWN with Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson are being incorporated into this year’s event. An iteration of D’ussePalooza will be held at the festival as well.
Tickets for The Roots Picnic 2020 go on sale on Friday (February 14) at noon Eastern. Prices start at $69.50 but will increase as the event gets closer.
