The debut album of 67 Mob, entitled Raising The Bar, will be digitally released worldwide on September 29th.
The album was produced by Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Bronze Nazareth, who is also featured on the album along with other artists including Kool G Rap [click to read], AZ [click to read], and Masta Killa.
Four childhood friends make up the group, Lips, Grecaman, Sal Black and Chz. They grew up together on 67th Street, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, hence the name “67 Mob.”
They have recorded 100 songs in about seven years and Raising The Bar will be the first of the two concept driving albums they will release within six months of each other.
Two of their singles, “Raising the Bar” featuring Cutty Ranks and “You Don’t Even Know,” will hit the Internet within one week. The music videos for the two singles have already been shot and will also be available on 67 Mob’s website, www.67MOB.com, along with the ability to download the 18 song album.
