Tha Dogg Pound Revives Death Row In UK

    With the hopes of releasing music from former Death Row artists, rapper/producer Daz Dillinger [click to read] and a former Death Row partner are creating a new label entitled Neu-Ro Records.

    Well known for being one half of the duo Tha Dogg Pound, Dillinger [click to read] revealed the news of the new label exclusively to AllHipHop. Dillinger will be working closely with former Death Row associate and entrepreneur Ron Winter.

    “I could not pass up an opportunity to continue the success of the Death Row’s operations after Suge withdrew and the catalog fell into hands of banker types,” Ron Winter told AllHipHop.com [click here].

    Aside from releasing music from former Death Row artists,  Neu-Ro Records will also be re-releasing old material from the label as well. On top of releasing music, Neu-Ro Records will help put out a childrens book and a documentary entitled That Was Then –This Is Now.

    Snoop Dogg, Dillinger, and Winter will run the label while Universal handles distribution.

    Earlier this year Death Row Records [click to read] was auctioned off to WIDEawake Holdings for a little under $20 million.
