According to TMZ, Taylor is accusing Shumpert of leaking details of their divorce agreement to the press, which has led to her coming under scrutiny.

The singer claims that their so-called settlement is actually a court-awarded judgement and that she already owned items she was allowed to keep such as cars and a tour bus.

Taylor further alleges that she was awarded four properties while her ex-husband got three, including a condo in Miami that he had originally gifted her.

It is also implied that Shumpert leaked the documents shortly after Taylor shared photos of herself with actor Aaron Pierre and that she suffered harassment online as a result of reports about their divorce.

Taylor wants Shumpert to be held in contempt of court and is asking the judge to sentence him to 20 days in jail and impose maximum fines.

Taylor initially filed for divorce in January 2023, long before the former couple announced their separation that September.

In the divorce filing, the ex-G.O.O.D. Music signee also asked for primary custody of their children and accused Shumpert of “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”
