Teyana Taylor and Mufasa: The Lion King actor Aaron Pierre are rumored to be an item after being spotted at the 2025 Oscars together.
On her Instagram on Monday (March 3) following the awards show, Taylor posted several black and white pictures of her and Pierre along with the caption: “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area.”

Pierre, who is four years the singer’s junior, also added fuel to the romance rumors by posting the same photos on his Instagram page.
JT from the City Girls jumped into the comments section to ask the question that was on many fans’ lips.

“Sis y’all go together? Please confirm!” she wrote.
SZA also gushed over the rumored couple, commenting: “Not yall both fine and feline in the most mysterious way. Giving lion and lionesss [heart eyes emoji] [fire emoji].”
The news comes around two years on from Teyana Taylor’s split from husband Iman Shumpert after seven years of marriage.
The former couple finalized their divorce last summer, with Taylor securing a significant financial sum from the ex-NBA star.

Their divorce agreement saw Taylor retain four of their marital properties, estimated to be worth over $10 million, as well as a fleet of luxury vehicles including a Maybach, a Mercedes Sprinter, a tour bus and a Bronco truck.
Shumpert kept his Miami condo and two compounds in Georgia, as well as all of his Shumpert Shump investments. However, he was also ordered to make a one time seven-figure payment to his ex, along with $8,000 per month in child support.
When filing for divorce, Taylor accused Shumpert of “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”
She also accused the former New York Knicks player of “being extremely emotionally and mentally abusive towards her,” adding that he could be prone to exhibiting “cruel behavior and selfishness.”

Her filing further alleged that Shumpert had cheated on her multiple times during their relationship, contrary to her previous statement that “infidelity ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.”
Aaron Pierre, meanwhile, has kept his love life private since rising to fame a few years ago. He was recently linked to Lori Harvey, although the model and socialite was quick to shut down a potential romance.
