Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s battle with Meek Mill continues to rage on.
For the latest in the two rappers’ year-long back-and-forth, 6ix9ine called Meek to task on the prison reform and related social justice initiatives he stands on. In a post on his Instagram story, the “GOOBA” rapper questioned why Meek isn’t out protesting as the world fights against police brutality and instead just dropping music he can profit from.
“If Kanye who is way more famous then all these rappers is outside protesting,” 6ix9ine began, “why is the wanna be Martin Luther King not but has no problem dropping a song during times like this to capitalize?”
To be fair, it can be noted we are still in the throws of a global health crisis and Meek is a new father – a fact 6ix9ine used against the Philly native when he called 6ix9ine a rat last month.
“Imagine having a new born baby come into the world & be pressed about a Mexican with rainbow hair,” 6ix9ine commented on Instagram under a screenshot of Meek’s tweet. Meek’s initial comment at the time was sparked by the announcement of 6ix9ine’s first post-prison Instagram Live.
Since then, Meek vowed to crush the rainbow-haired rapper “for the culture,” though 6ix9ine doesn’t appear to be losing any momentum whatsoever. In fact, just days after Meek’s aforementioned comments, the “GOOBA” video pulled in over 100 million views in less than three days making it the biggest YouTube debut by an American artist to date.

If you dislike the way police forces police our cities, then propose specifically what changes u think would help, draft a bill, and call on the democrats to pass it. This IS NOT A REPUBLICAN PROBLEM. The black murders and problems are 99% in US Major Cities, which have Democrat super majorities, and have for over 50 years straight. The democrats are marching with the protesters in these cities, but it’s silly, because these democrats are literally in a position to fix the issues they are supporting with protesters. You cannot change “systematic racism” without changing the system, which means passing legislation to change what u want to see change. The democrats are using this for votes. Watch. Nothing will change. No Democrat marching with you will pass any legislation to change anything at all.
