Tay-K Branded A Snitch For Reporting Horrific Murder He Witnessed In Jail

Tay-K has been labeled a snitch after tweeting about a disturbing murder he witnessed from jail.

The 22-year-old rapper, who was found guilty of murdering Ethan Walker in July 2019 and in turn sentenced to over 55 years in prison, said on Twitter that he witnessed a man get his head bashed in with a lunch tray, and that the perpetrator also stomped on his head.

“Dude in the cell by me killed his celly wit a tray n stood on his head woah,” Tay K tweeted at the weekend.

Twitter immediately began labeling the “Saran Pack” rapper a snitch, with one user writing: “A CO need to take your phone.. stop snitching on that man.” Another added: “bra jus snitched through a tweet,” before adding: “jkjk.” A third tweeted: “Rip now stop snitching.”

Tay-K has been tweeting a lot in recent weeks. In January, the rapper took to Twitter to plead for just “1 chance” to be an adult and said that if he had been tried as a white person he doesn’t think his punishment would have been so severe.

“I really just need 1 chance @ adulthood,” he wrote. “I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16….they woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood.”

He added: “one of my codefendants was a white girl who was 16 jus like me…they didn’t certify her as an adult but they certified me n pimp as adults, pimp got 30, I got 55, she ended up getting 10 years of probation without no deal…that girl @ home rn.”

Additionally, Tay tweeted out later in January that he was being treated like a ferret behind bars, and that he was “at war within.”

“Im @ war within,” he tweeted, before adding: “I feel like a hamster in here. They’re literally treating me like a ferret in here rn.”

The teen rapper is not only serving out a 55-year sentence for Ethan Walker’s murder but also got slapped with 30 years for aggravated robbery and handed two additional 13-year prison sentences for two other counts of aggravated robbery. The sentences are being served concurrently in San Antonio’s Bexar County Jail.

Tay-K previously gained notoriety after cutting off his ankle monitor and fleeing authorities prior to his arrest in 2017: “fuck dis house arrest shit fuck 12 they gn hav 2 catch me on hood,” Tay tweeted at the time. He then dropped off his seminal hit “The Race,” which hit No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was later remixed by 21 Savage and Young Nudy.

The song, which contains lyrics like: “Pop a n-gga then I go out my way,” was used as evidence in his trial.

    1. Pardon my ignorance on prison privilege’s, but you’re allowed to have a phone and be on social media when serving time?

      1. depending on the level of the yard he is on , you can buy internet time on a tablet thru the commissary program..

    2. Sooo according to Twitter we are supposed to protect violent murderers and just let them go around killing people, just so that some random immature keyboard gangsta clown wouldn’t call us a snitch, is that what it’s come to? LOL come on now cuh grow the fuck up and grow a pair.

      1. he indirectly snitched on dude, but they probably know dude did it anyway. Cause if they were cell-mates and it happened in the cell the who else did it? Now if it happened in the chow hall then anyone could have done it. Having said that: Tay K should not be speaking on nothing even if he did see it, you got to mind your own business in there. When motto when I did a lil’ time was I’m not helping the police, and I’m not hurting no brother. I’m not in it!

    4. No mention of the Chick-fil-A murder that he was charged with ? Whatever happened there? Why is he serving state time in a county jail ?

      1. He is just waiting to “catch chain.” Until his bed is ready on the Unit, he has to await the remainder in county jail. Trust me, he will get there!!!💯
