Taxstone has doubled down on his claims that Gunna is a snitch — while defining the term for those in need of clarification.
On Saturday (June 17), Tax — who is currently in jail awaiting sentencing after being convicted of manslaughter, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon in relation to the death of Troy Ave’s bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter — took aim at Gunna, explaining there’s no gray area when it comes to being a snitch. Either you are or you aren’t.

“Offering unknown information in a criminal investigation that can help the governments case is snitching. What’s so hard about understanding that,” he tweeted, questioning the confusion.
In a follow-up tweet, he emphasized there’s no nuance involved in snitching, writing: “This is not a complex thing there no dry snitching or wet snitching.”

Gunna (real name Sergio Kitchens) has been on a campaign to clean up his image since taking a plea deal, stemming from racketeering charges in which he plead guilty, after he and fellow Atlanta rapper Young Thug were arrested as part of a 56-count indictment against their Young Slime Life (YSL) collective, in May 2022.
In December, the Atlanta rapper and his legal team entered an Alford plea where he plead guilty to one charge because it was in his best interest to do so as far as his freedom goes.

As a result, Gunna was sentenced to five years with one served in prison where he’d been serving since being arrested. The four-year sentence was later “suspended” with Gunna slated to serve the remainder of his sentence in the form of 500 hours of community service.
Meanwhile, Young Thug is currently being held in Fulton County Jail after a judge denied him bond.

Despite rumors that he snitched, Gunna made it clear in a statement around that time that he had not cooperated with anyone.
More recently, the “Drip Too Hard’ rhymer assured Young Thug he didn’t rat on him on his new albumA Gift & A Curse — which dropped on Friday (June 16).
Various songs on the new album find Gunna addressing the “snitch” allegations head-on. On the track “I Was Just Thinking,” he opens up about crying over Young Thug’s situation and the “lies” people are saying about him.
“That’s four walls talkin’ to you, tellin’ you you gone/ Only I done criеd, ’cause this feelin’ for my bro (King Slime)/ And you know my mind, you done watched that n-gga grow/ I know you hear the lies, it’s your lil’ brother, my folk/ Yeah, I had popped out, but don’t let ’em say I told,” he raps.
On “Rodeo Dr,” he also claims he’s been approaching those who have called him out for snitching — although it’s not clear exactly who he’s talking about.
“I know you heard I been pullin’ up pressin’ these n-ggas who claimin’ I ratted/ And been all on the yacht with my muthafuckin’ shirt off, look at it, my whole body tatted,” he spits.

Despite his efforts, his crew, and the collective’s co-founder YSL Mondo thinks it’s best he leaves rap behind.
In a recent Instagram Story post, Mondo didn’t hold anything back while addressing his former YSL partner-in-rhyme, which was presumably in reaction to the release of A Gift & a Curse.
Despite admiring the rapper for his skills, Mondo makes it clear none of that matters because he believes Gunna let the side down when he allegedly “folded” on Young Thug.
