T.I.’s Probation Hearing Set For October 15

After his September 1 arrest in Los Angeles, Rap superstar T.I. has a hearing set for October 15. The date will evaluate T.I.’s probation, after marijuana, ecstasy and codeine were discovered in the couple’s Maybach automobile after a stop for an illegal U-turn. His wife, Tomeka “Tiny” Harris was also arrested.

Last year, T.I. was released from prison after a felony weapons charge just three years ago this week, when the Grand Hustle Records co-founder and then-artist Alfamega were arrested before the 2007 BET Hip Hop Awards.

T.I. and his parent label, Atlantic Records, have yet to release a statement. T.I. could potentially face felony charges for the parole violation. (October 4)

UPDATE: Probation officers and T.I.’s defense council are presently deciding between suggested sentencing. According to AllHipHop.com, the probation officers are motioning for eight to 14 months in prison, while his legal team is suggesting four to 11 months.

The trial date remains set for this week, on October 15 at 2pm.

    1. Bad reporting, said he got released last year from prison. Hello, its still 2010 dumb fuckers. Secondly, his first go round with this whole prison thing, i was like cool dude’s tryna change himself and set an example for some other motherfuckers out there… but now he got out and did some shit like this! damn, i hope they just fuck him over and give him like 10 years. No joke, considering his last prison sentence and what he has now done, they shouldn’t go easy on this nigga

      1. If you’re refering to the recent gun charge as his first-go-around, you’re overlooking the fact that he served some time due to drugs before his career took off. Dude is repeat offender in the purest sense of the word. I doubt he will ever learn…

    2. Alright Jaycee ^5 for havin’ the same b-day as me lol. Anyways, TI is a FUCKIN’ FOOL for this stunt he pulled!!! Not only was he smokin’ weed, not only did he have XTC, but he also had syrup too?! It’s like he’s BEGGING to go back to jail!!! Honestly, I hope he gets the maximum sentence ’cause the fact that he only got a year for his last stint was bullshit ’cause he got that long bread, but you can’t get out finally, do interviews about how much you changed, and do some stupid shit like this! It’s a slap in the face for any regular American citizen!

    3. I’ma Tip fan but I gotta agree with Maz he deserves what he gets he fucked up once then fucked up again as soon as he got out what the fuck is wrong with these rappers.
I can’t stanhd half of the campaigns like Free Yayo, Weezy & Tip when they asked to be fucked & locked up I’d understand if it was over some dumb shit but the dudes I named we’re carrying heaters (well Tip was carrying a fucking arsenal) if your dumb enough to do the crime then your thick enough to do the time.

    4. Honestyl they might as well just let him stay out of jail. What the fuck is the point of arresting celebrities then giving them light ass sentences in minimal security shit? I wish i could do some fucking felonies like him get out and do some more and be talking a 4 month sentence. You would be looking at so many years plus you would still be in jail for another few years til u can even get out and do some dumb shit. Whoever said it said it best its a slap in the face to an american citizen. Just prooves what the world already knows cash=king no matter what anyone says.

    5. Some people have a propensity for trouble, and it looks like T.I. is one. You can’t help but wonder if he will ever learn his lesson. I’d like to hear what he has to say this time…

    6. don’t defend this loser…lock him up…i don’t care if his music is “ok”…fuck it…toss the book at him and put him away. I spent more time in jail for a simple possession than what this guy will get for a felony violation…fuck him. and the justice system if he gets off with 4 months.

    7. He’s got a dense rap sheet going back to the 90s…he got a sweet deal with the feds for the gun case…and he squandered it. All that redemption shit was premature.
