Just in to HipHopDX.com, courtesy of our on-the-ground reporter at the U.S. Courthouse in Atlanta, T.I. will remain in federal custody until at least Friday.
“They did not discuss bond, that’s been postponed until Friday,” says our DX reporter. “All they did was read off the charges [against him].”
At the press conference held by ATF after today’s court proceeding were the weapons confiscated from T.I.‘s car and home were shown the agents refused to discuss any deal that has been struck between the government and T.I.‘s bodyguard-turned-informant. T.I. will be back in U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman‘s courtroom on Friday at 10:30 a.m., where upon a hearing will be held to determine if the King of the South is eligible for bond, and if there was even probable cause to arrest him in the first place. U.S. Attorneys are seeking to keep T.I. behind bars until his trial, which may not take place for months. Calls placed to T.I.‘s attorney, Dwight L. Thomas, seeking comment regarding today’s hearing were not returned as of press time.
Here are some exclusive pics of the guns T.I. was arrested for.
