TLC’s T-Boz has issued a public service announcement after her daughter was allegedly targeted and nearly kidnapped by sex traffickers.
In a video posted to Instagram, the CrazySexyCool singer (real name Tionne Watkins) said that her daughter was leaving the doctor’s office when she noticed a strange item on her windshield wiper, and immediately knew not to touch it or do anything until she was in a safer location.
“You’ll always hear about sex trafficking and stuff like that, so my daughter was just leaving the doctor’s office and when she came to the car, she had a weird thing on her windshield wiper,” T-Boz said. “So instead of touching it, ’cause when you do they’ll have some kind of drug or substance on there that’ll make you drowsy and knock you out.
She continued: “So this is the thing. She looked at her surroundings. She hurried up and got in the car, drove off. Went to a safe, crowded location, and took some object to knock it off. But now, the concern is now I hear they put trackers on your car so if you have a father, brother, male around, police station, wherever, make sure y’all check for trackers so they won’t track you guys home or to the next location.”
“WATCH YOUR SURROUNDINGS,” she captioned the clip.

T-Boz’s daughter isn’t the only one to recently experience someone tampering with their car. Xzibit discovered a tracking device on the bottom of his car last year, and vowed to hunt down the person responsible while issuing a safety warning to others.
“So….whoever thought it was a good idea to put a fucking AirTag on my car and track me, I found this shit and now I’m tracing back from the serial number on the device to find YOUR stupid ass,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
“I don’t know what your intentions were, but trust me you would have been on the working end,” he added. “Be careful out here guys, these people are getting bold.”
