SZA has said that despite the blockbuster success of her previous albums, they “piss” her off every time she listens back to them.

On Sunday (May 7), the TDE singer took to Twitter to air her grievances about her old project’s Ctrl and Z, explaining the mixes were never quite up to the standards she wanted before they were released.

“I still listen to my albums and get pissed off at the mixes,” she tweeted.

Despite her dislike, SZA’s Ctrl broke the singer into the mainstream fold, solidifying her as one of R&B’s brightest stars. The project peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 while receiving critical acclaim across the board, and was nominated for five Grammy’s at the 2018 Grammy Awards. The project has since been certified double platinum.

As for her sophomore effort SOS, SZA has already said she likes numerous songs off the new tape, and listed out some of her faves on Twitter.

“snooze ,love language, kill bill ,nobody gets me ,ex pack ,blind ,good days ,gone girl, I hate u, F2F,low , seek and destroy , ghost , Sos , used…FORGIVELESS too,” she tweeted on Sunday (May 7).

The 33-year-old singer recently stacked up another accolade thanks to her sophomore effort, which in April went double platinum and broke Mary J. Blige‘s almost 20-year chart record.

The album spent its 16th consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with SZA’s “Kill Bill” becoming the longest-running No. 1 single for a female solo artist. The record was previously held by Blige’s 2006 smash “Be Without You,” off her seventh studio album, The Breakthrough. Following its release, “Be Without You” spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart.
