“Updated track list !!!!! Few more updates to come,” Swizz teased in his caption. “Can’t wait for y’all to hear this EP 4-21!!!!!”

Jay Electronica and Swizz last connected in 2020 when he produced the New Orleans native’s “The Blinding” featuring Travis Scott off the 46-year-old’s 2020 A Written Testimony project.

Fans were excited for the EP’s arrival later this week as DJ Premier, Busta Rhymes and more lent their stamps of approval.

Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2is set to arrive on Friday (April 21) with features from Nas, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Fivio Foreign, Lil Durk, Benny The Butcher, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more.

Track No. 2 titled “This Shit Right Here” originally featured JAY-Z alongside Lil Wayne, which sent fans into a frenzy, but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore with HOV’s name removed from the credits. It seems that Jay might only be featured in the form of a sample on the song now.

This makes for the second collab between Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz this year alone, as the pair partnered up in February for the former’s Tha Carter VI single, “Kan’t Nobody.” The late DMX is also featured on the song, with his 1998 classic “N-ggaz Done Started Somethin” being sampled on the beat.

“I started as a DJ in the Bronx. Everything just happened so fast,” Swizz Beatz can be heard saying over the upcoming Weezy-assisted banger in a teaser. “You’re either going to pay with money or pain.”
