Jay Electronica and reggie have traded clever lyrics and angelic melodies on Rory’s brand new single, “Enough.”

In the video, which was released on Friday (March 17), Rory starts off by looking at an upscale estate while having inner dialogue about life’s uncertain moments.

“Some people only take snapshots of their illusions, a moment in time that captures who they really want to be, how they really want to feel, hoping it takes over the true picture of their lives,” he began. “But, no one takes a photograph of something they want to forget. The things you’re most afraid of have already happened.”

As Rory enters the house, he walks around like a man who’s lived there before, but is no longer welcome. It appears as if Rory tapped both Jay Electronica and reggie to carry out his lyrical vision for the single. While reggie and Jay Electronica sang the chorus in unison but different keys, Jay Electronica delivered a 16-bar verse which makes you remember why you include him in your top 10 lists of MCs.

Check out the video below:

“You can taste the tears of Lot’s wife flowing out my tear ducts/The sound of me not giving a fuck blowing out my earmuffs/Love ain’t got nothing to do with it, you could ask Ike that/The heart seem like the perfеct place for you to stick a knife at/How come I gotta ask morе times than you why is you like that/I went to see the man inside the mirror it was Mike Jack,” he raps.

Toward the end of the video, Rory is caught off guard when his alleged ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend return home to find him holding her dog in a state of bewilderment and joy. Rory then wakes up submerged in a bathtub while fully clothed.

Outside of music, Jay Electronica has been making waves with his opinion on taboo topics including the Illuminati.
