album cover is trash….
who gives a shit what the album cover looks like
people who buy albums
nobody buys albums
^ Say that to the fanbases of Kendrick, Drake, J Cole, Hov, Kanye, Eminem.
Releasing an album means releasing it through a full package. From the chosen beats, the delivery, the flow, the message, etc AND the cover. A nice and meaningful cover says a lot of the album quality. As said below, look at Kendrick’s, J. Cole’s or Big Krit’s album covers just to name a few. But well, I’m not mad about it though. Quality can be there anyway. A lil’ bit more of research on this cover would have been appreciated anyway.
Dry Statik returns with more boring, dry ass beats. Why can’t legit producers like Just Blaze or Pharrell put compilation albums like these instead of these boring underground producers (Statik, Alchemist, 9th)?
Fuk u*alchemist is a hall a fame producer*go bump Mike will or dj ketchup s same boring ass beats*
Alchemist is a Hall of LAME producer. And I listed two better producers than him in my comment if you read. I’m not a fan of Mike Will or DJ Mustard either, but hell, I’ll listen to their beats over Alc’s or Statik’s. At least a few of their beats are catchy or have a melody.
Statik is iLL. respect. LoL homey don’t know more quality than Just Blaze or Pharrell. your other producers in parentheses are not underground. Statik is on Shade45, Al just did a Dilated album and 9th is teaching knowledge. But what do i know about catchy beats or melodies ?
Agree with everything you said except Alchemist and 9th! Alchemist is straight BANANAS, homie. He’s changed/evolved his style now literally like 4 times throughout his career and his shit is still absolute fire. But Statik Selektah?? Jesus! He makes one banger out of every 50 songs. I don’t get why Duck Down keeps putting out his albums! He’s probably a better DJ than producer. Maybe he should just stick to DJing.
I also can’t understand how Statik and Alchemist are so liked producers. Both of them have the same problem – nice, often soulful samples paired with really dumb-sounding drums. Statik has made one I like, that’s the ‘I Hear Footsteps’ beat. Alchemist in the other hand… Can’t recall a single good song he has produced. So Statik is the better one, but he’s not that special either. Just Blaze is better than both of these, but Pharrel is just garbage song after song. Adrian Younge, DJ Premier and for example Oh No are all much better producers. Even Eminem makes better beats than Statik and Alc!
statik is terrible but alc is the shit. yall ain’t never heard keep it thoro or we’re gonna make? hold you down? fuck outta here. i agree his new stuff doesn’t have the hard drums but rare chandeliers was dope and so was the shit he did with fashawn and domo genesis. sounds like yall have only been listening to hip hop for about 5 seconds
That is the saddest, most off-putting album cover I have ever seen.
the most boring producer of all time with some of the dumbest cover art i’ve ever seen. this fat pasty cracka needs to be put down like a dog.
Lol this dude is def still a virgin bwaaaaaahaaaaaaaa
Statikah and alc are both tough, please take the penis out of your ears motherfuckers
Another album filled with basura beats. Thanks a lot, Statik. NOT!
Co-sign all day.
Static album is dope, its got a good lineup of lyrical rappers on it so for all u fools who be hating better smarten up dummies, this aint music for narrow minded bitch made niggas
Like the dude below said, this boy defiantly still a virgin.
what’s a static skeleton and why isn’t eminem on it? you guys are haters, this is garbage. #marshall4prez
This guy always has the worst album covers.
