Seventeen artists took to the stage over the course of four days, and LimeWire also provided digital merch for attendees, including digital sneakers and glasses.

LimeWire announced its plans to relaunch as a music-oriented NFT (non-fungible token) marketplace earlier in 2022, which would allow users to “explore, collect and trade unique digital collectibles.” Soulja Boy supported the company’s return by reposting their latest commercial on social media.

The 60-second clip was entirely soundtracked by Draco’s 2007 seminal hit “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” which was one of the platform’s most widely downloaded songs before the Recording Industry Association of America shuttered it following a lawsuit in 2010.

In March 2022, Austrian entrepreneurs and brothers Julian and Paul Zehetmayr acquired LimeWire’s naming rights to relaunch the platform as a “mainstream-ready, digital collectibles marketplace for art and entertainment, initially focusing on music.”

While Soulja has shown full-blown support for LimeWire’s revival, it seems his support for Twitter is waning following Elon Musk’s takeover of the company in October. Draco took to Twitter last week to air out the new CEO, and said he plans to start his own social media app as a result.

“Now u can just pay to be verified? Twitter has been destroyed,” Soulja Boy said. “Bro leave twitter alone @elonmusk wtf are you doing.”
