Snoop Dogg to Become First Rapper on “Rock Band”

Snoop Dogg has always maintained that he feels no reason to be restricted to musical boundaries. Upholding this, Snoop will become the first rapper to ever be a part of the “Rock Band” music video game series. Boasting eight tracks to be featured on the game, Snoop will include cuts like “Snoop’s Upside Ya Head” and “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?”

Aside from the aforementioned tracks, the game will also feature “Ridin’ In My Chevy,” “Beautiful,” “Tha Shiznit,” “Sensual Seduction,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” and his most recent, “That’s Tha Homie.”

Recently, Snoop made headlines when we reported that he partnered with Norton Anti-Cybercrime on their “Hack is Wack” contest. Aside from this, he has been on the Rock the Bells tour, and he recently announced that he would be releasing Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary, to be produced entirely by Swizz Beatz, as reported earlier this month.

    1. It’ll be cool to do Who Am I and Tha Shiznit on Rockband, it’ll be interesting how they do it. As much as I wanted to like DJ Hero (and kinda do), it just never was as good as the guitar hero or rock band.

    2. This article is false and terribly written – HHDX slippin`.
Del The Funkee Homosapien was the first rapper ever to be on Rock Band, with the song “Clint Eastwood” ..

      Fucking idiots.

      1. he never said it was a solo joint.
doesnt matter that he was part of a group.
point is that a rapper has already been on rock band. Del was 1st.

    3. Yea, the beastie boys apparently aren’t rappers. Can we for once give those white boys some credit. They don’t even get love in the throwback at noon.
