The Ultimate Rap League has announced the card for “Summer Madness 5.”
The SMACK/URL event is scheduled for September 26 at Irving Plaza in New York, according to BattleRap.com. The URL will host seven battles:
- Charlie Clips vs. Loaded Lux
- Tay Roc vs. Calicoe
- Ms. Hustle vs. O’fficial
- Shotgun Suge vs. Big T
- T-Rex vs. T-Top
- John John Da Don vs. Mr. Wavy
- K-Shine & DNA vs. Steams & Chess
Loaded Lux is returning to the URL stage for the first time since battling Calicoe at Summer Madness 2. Charlie Clips leaked the news of the battle on Instagram, but the post was quickly retracted by the league, saying the details were still being worked out.
The matchup between the two female rappers, Ms. Hustle and O’fficial, is a battle the website points out as important because “the level of actual animosity between these two is definite reason to get excited.”
