Slim Thug has made it clear that he’s not a fan of DJ Vlad, pummeling the DJ and host with accusations of being a culture vulture.
“How the fuck is a n-gga named Vlad talkin’ ’bout a Black man in here?” he said in an Instagram Live that went viral on Thursday (November 23). “What he got goin’ on? Y’all just bop on anything. Y’all lettin’ a n-gga named Vlad tell y’all something.”
He continued: “White people reportin’ this news to y’all. All kind of weirdos tellin’ you this shit. Stop the cap, man. This me, though. This my news station. And if they keep playin’ with me, I’ma start talkin’ ’bout them motherfuckers. They better leave me alone.
“Vlad Escobar. What the fuck is Vlad? What name is that? Where is that from? What nationality is that? Cuz I don’t know how it’s a Vlad tellin’ Black people news […] How’s we cool with this? German is German. Is we lettin’ a German get all this money off us?”
The Houston rapper also said he has turned down several interview requests with Vlad’s popular YouTube platform VladTV.

For what it’s worth, DJ Vlad (real name Vladislav Lyubovny) is a native of Kyiv, Ukraine, and was born at a time when the country was under Russian occupation.
Slim Thug has come under fire himself lately for comments he made about Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, in which she accused him of rape and domestic abuse. (The suit has since been settled.)
“When shit go down, speak on that shit right there or it should be null and void. You shouldn’t be able to do shit unless you let the people know what happened immediately. There should be a time limit on that shit,” he said.
“What happened was […] you were fucking with a billionaire with all this bread all this time, and then you went and followed your heart to fucking with a trainer,” he added, referencing Cassie’s personal trainer husband Alex Fine.
“That apartment got small, that lifestyle fell off, now it’s struggle time, the love wearing off and now you trying to come up with ways to figure out how to get paid […] Quit trying to expose people for money.”
After his remarks went viral, Cassie fans began digging into Slim Thug’s own past, unearthing a Craigslist ad from 2011 in which he solicited sex after a breakup. In the post, the rapper also posted pictures of himself with his nipples out.
Rumors of Thug getting his own cousin pregnant also resurfaced, although he has since debunked them.
