Sean Price’s Songs in the Key of Price is now available to stream on Spotify.
The eight-cut project features Vic Spencer on “Metal Beard” and Illa Ghee and Royal Flush on “Soul Perfect.”
Sean Price passed away August 8.
As a member of Heltah Skeltah with Rock, Sean Price helped usher in a wave of independent New York rap in the 1990s as part of the larger Boot Camp Clik collective of artists, which also included Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun and O.G.C.
DJ Premier, Just Blaze and MF DOOM are among the rappers who mourned Sean Price’s death.
“R.I.P. Ruck….Love and Respect to The Duck Down Family!!! #SeanPrice,” DJ Premier wrote on his Instagram page.
