ScHoolboy Q seems to be satisfied with the packaging of his latest offering, Blue Lips, as he doesn’t plan on adding to it.

On the morning of Saturday (March 2), a fan on Twitter asked the Los Angeles native: “If you do a deluxe (u probably not) can tHey sound like pig feet and tHank god for me.??”

Just a little over five minutes after the question was posted, the MC quoted it and wrote back: “Labels & artist kinda killed da deluxe [shrugging emoji] it’s a scam.. no way I’m adding 3-4 songs to my album a week after it drop [laughing emoji].

He concluded: “I work 2 Hard on my craft for a extra 2k in sales [laughing emoji] nobody cares.”

Just hours after the album went live earlier this week, the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper called out Spotify as well as his label Interscope Records regarding an issue with his project on the streaming service.

“Wait.. I can’t even play my own sHit [palm on face emoji],” he wrote. “Umm @Spotify @Interscope I know I’m not the only 1.. only rappers get did like this smH.”

Q’s post included a screenshot of him trying to play Blue Lips on Spotify but only two songs — “THank God 4 Me” and the previously released single “Yeern 101” — were available.

The LA native later deleted said tweet, but it appears he wasn’t the only one encountering the glitch. When another fan raised the issue with him, he replied: “Sumbody HELP.”

Spotify has yet to comment on the matter. As of this writing, the 18-track LP is available to stream in full on the platform, so it’s unclear if the bug has been resolved or it is still affecting certain users.

Blue Lips is ScHoolboy Q’s first full-length album since 2019’s CrasH Talk. Following its release, he had been largely inactive until now, with the exception of a few singles.
