Royce da 5′ 9 took to Twitter yesterday (September 26) to announce a possible PRhyme 2. He and DJ Premier released the first PRhyme album in December.
“I need to let these ideas out my brain bruh @REALDJPREMIER,” Royce da 5’9 says of the follow-up project.
He tags Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and The Game asking if they would like to be a part of PRhyme 2.
“You wanna hop on this #PRhymeTWO @Eminem ? I miss rapping with my right hand,” he says to the Detroit rapper.
The two make up the duo Bad Meets Evil whose last project was 2011’s Hell: The Sequel.
“#PRhymeTWO @kendricklamar ?” he asks the “Alright” rapper with looking eye emojis in his post.
He writes the same message to The Game.
“#PRhymeTWO @thegame ?” he says.
Royce Da 5’9 says that he wants more emcees on the project, too, but only wanted to name those three. He details the requirements for a feature on PRhyme 2.
“You gotta be able to spar,” he writes. “We’re promising blood. Real lyricists. I’m not Boutta go @’ng everybody, but I think ya’ll see where I’m going.”
Common, Jay Electronica, Killer Mike, and Ab-Soul were some of the artists featured on PRhyme.
If Eminem says yes….
Primo is done with his style from 1994. He should do new things instead of the same old same. Retire old man and you to Royce. Never had a classic and never will have a classic.

Obviosly this is awesome news… But whens that Prhyme Deluxe gonna drop?!! PRhyme for sure one of the greatest mist listened to rap albums ive heard in maybe a decade or so.. Lets get em Royce and Preem!!
Makes no sense but I doubt it. For some reason Em is scared of Premo. All these years, and not once has he worked with him. You’d think Royce putting in work with Premier would change that. Shit even Dre had Premier on Animals, but Marshall still no where to be found on a Premo beat. Weak.
He’s worked with premier on some cyphers.

Most of the young cats on here replying with Classic BS out there mouths !!!! Rather underground or mainstream hip hop purist would agree this was one of the better Hip Hop albums of the year … Too many young cats stay worried about their minute listening taste !!!

I can honestly do without so many guest appearances. Royce can more than hold his own…I don’t get artists these days relying on guests. But if there is anyone, it’s gotta be KRS! THAT MAN SLAYS A preemo beat
