Acclaimed indie producer/arranger RJD2 is in giving
spirit. The former Def Jukie has added a series of dates on to his tour, which
starts March 9th in Columbus, Ohio and ends May 19th in Bellingham, Washington.
The tour is in support of his highly anticipated album The Third
Hand, which will be released just three days before the tour begins.
RJ left underground powerhouse Definitive Jux
Records in 2006, signing with the electronic label XL. “I just feel
slutty,” he said, referring to the freelance beat-selling process he’d found
so much success with. He remains unsure if another Soul
Position album is in the cards. Reportedly looking for a more pop-oriented
sound, the Columbus DJ will be seen for the first time playing with his
live, four-piece band.
