Rihanna, The Weeknd, Jay Z Hit Forbes’ 2016 Highest-Paid Celebrity List

    Taylor Swift is the highest-paid celebrity of 2016, according to Forbes’ newly released Celeb 100 list.

    The 26-year-old pop singer earned $170 million over the past year, $60 million more than the second-place entry, boy band One Direction.

    Several figures from the worlds of Hip Hop and R&B made the list, which features entertainers including athletes, actors, musicians, media personalities and at least one magician.

    Rihanna tied Ellen Degeneres for the 13th spot, earning $75 million. The singer released her eighth studio album, ANTI, in 2016 and hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. She also stacked cash through endorsement deals with Samsung, Dior and Puma.

    Puff Daddy took the 22nd spot by raking in $62 million, while The Weeknd came in 30th with $55 million.

    Hip Hop power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z combined for $107.5 million between them, with Mrs. Carter coming in at #34 with $54 million and her husband taking #36 with $500,000 less.

    Other rappers to feature on the list include Dr. Dre at #63 ($41 million) and Drake at #69 ($38.5 million). The Toronto rapper also hit Forbes’ earlier list of the wealthiest Hip Hop artists for the first time in 2016, joining Diddy, Dre, Jay Z and Birdman.

    Comedian, actor and Hip Hop fan Kevin Hart came in at #6 with $87.5 million.
