Rick Ross doesn’t see anything wrong with smoking weed while working out and he doesn’t understand why anyone else does either.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Thursday (April 11), Rozay questioned why people took issue with him enjoying some herbal refreshments while getting fit.

“I got a question,” he began. “Everybody that’s training, for the ones in my DM – what y’all see wrong with smoking a little cannabis, smoking some marijuana while you work out? What’s the problem?

“You gon’ smoke after you work out. You smoke before you work out. What’s the problem? I feel great. I feel amazing.”

Rick Ross isn’t the only one who enjoys smoking while working out. Last year, Wiz Khalifa revealed it actually helps with his breath control – which is important both in the gym and on the stage.

“Nah [I don’t get winded at all] – I got really good cardio,” Wiz said in an interview with GQ. “I honestly think smoking weed helps my wind a little better because I have breath control and I’m able to take these deep, long breaths that normal people who don’t drag strong marijuana—they don’t experience that.”

In other Rozay news, Rick Ross‘ verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Everyday Hustle” prompted some vicious clapback from his ex Tia Kemp, including a claim about one of the rapper’s children resembling Drake.

The song in question, which was released as part of We Don’t Trust You, features Ross spitting: “Baby mama still the biggest opp/ Team of shooters just to keep it locked.”

Kemp, who shares a son with the rapper, was convinced the line was about her even though it doesn’t mention her by name. In late March, she responded to it during an Instagram Live session and went off on a tangent, suggesting alternate topics for him to talk about in his songs.

“You oughta rap about your muthafuckin children you around here hiding,” she said. “I want to see my stepson that look like Drake.”

Kemp then made it clear that she’s tired of being mentioned in Ross’ songs, singling out his 2008 cut “Single Again (Remix)” with Trina, Plies and Lil Wayne, which features him rapping: “Left my baby mama ’cause she didn’t get shit.”

“You been doing that shit since our baby was five,” she said. “For twenty fucking years you played games […] Rap at me on another song, I’m coming to that fucking gate with them double R’s on.”
