Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown’s abrupt mid-game departure on Sunday (January 2) has been a lightning rod for conversation in the sports world. Several rappers have joined the conversation such as Kodak Black, and now Rick Ross has come to the defense of AB.
“Right now, we living in a legacy era,” Rozay explained while flexing his Ferrari parked in his driveway behind him. “You know what I’m saying? We ain’t gonna fumble the bag but we ain’t gonna let them do us any kind of way. Ya dig? So let’s make sure y’all not jump to all sort of conclusions on AB. You feel me? The lil homie won the Super Bowl with them people, not the toilet bowl.”
For those unfamiliar with the circumstances, Antonio Brown took off his pads, threw his gloves and shirt into the Metlife Stadium crowd and headed for the locker room during the third quarter of the Buccaneers contest against the New York Jets.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians quickly clarified that AB would no longer be part of the organization moving forward and he didn’t even fly back to Florida with the team. Brown was spotted Tuesday night (January 4) hanging courtside at the Brooklyn Nets game with Fabolous.
Kodak Black is another artist who stepped in and warned people not to be quick to judge Antonio Brown based on his outburst.
“Don’t B Kwik To Shun @AB84Ain’t Nobody Finna Jus Do That Fa No Apparent Reason,” he began. “Gotta B Some Shit We Don’t Know Bout & Clearly Fam Had Some Fines to pay & dem People Wasn’t Tryna Put em in da game so he can earn dem bonuses … of course a nigga gone get frustrated.”
Brown hasn’t spoken publicly about the incident but did release a song titled “Pit Not the Palace” on Sunday evening with all eyes on him.
Men control their emotions. Boys lash out.
I dont know the circumstances, but I know the guy makes more money than ill ever make in my lifetime. Huge paychecks come with huge responsibilities. If he walked out and quit, someone who is hungry will step in and fill his shoes quickly. Dont let the door hit you on the way out. Uber eats and Door Dash are hiring.
Man, Tom Brady practically split the Red Sea getting AB on the squad. Aye, it’s all good they got a championship but bruh couldn’t keep his emotions in check. It is what it is.
The millionaire football player’s gonna be alright. Take that energy and help the disadvantaged people in your community instead, ya fat fuck.
Well AB is a creep, make sense that Kodak Black is defending his fellow creep.
i dont know what ab did but if hew a dumbasscrap like choe moe joe..then dk em
Until you find out he was mad about how many catches he was getting in the game. Boy stick to identity theft.
