Rich The Kid hit back at Elliott Wilson after the veteran Hip Hop journalist shaded the rapper.
Appearing to reference Rich’s appearance on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s joint album Vultures 1, Wilson wrote on X: “Rich The Kid is the luckiest n-gga on the planet.”

Rich appears on the song “Carnival” along with Playboi Carti, with the track widely seen as a standout on the divisive project. The song is also currently No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Chart.
Rich fired back at Wilson on X, writing: “How the fuck I’m lucky ? N-ggas made that song from scratch.. hating is not cool bro.”

Despite not receiving much acclaim during his career, Rich The Kid has collaborated with other Hip Hop heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Future, while his debut album The World Is Yours went platinum.
His fourth album Life’s a Gamble is expected to be released in the coming months and contain more A-list guests such as Kanye West, Offset and Travis Barker.

The Atlanta-via-New York native generated controversy late last year when he was arrested for defying police orders during a bomb threat.
According to TMZ, the 31-year-old was arrested after cops established a perimeter around the SLS Hotel in Miami while they conducted their investigation and barred anybody from going inside.
Rich apparently insisted that he needed to get to his room, which the cops said could not happen while they were investigating. They allegedly warned him he would be arrested if he continued to insist on going to his room.
According to the police, Rich responded by saying, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes” and attempted to enter the hotel through a different entrance but was confronted by security.

The “New Freezer” rapper then allegedly jumped the fence before encountering a K-9 unit. He was ordered to leave the hotel but refused before he was taken into custody.
Rich The Kid (real name Dimitri Leslie Roger) was hit with two misdemeanor charges: resisting an officer without violence and trespassing.

It was reported that Rich wanted to gain access to the hotel to meet a music promoter to collect payment for a performance at a club, with him scheduled to perform at Hyde Beach nightclub along with NLE Choppa and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.
