Real Boston Richey has addressed the reason he’s no longer on Future‘s One Big Party tour, denying that it’s because he was kicked off.
In a post to his Instagram Story on Thursday (January 12), Richey said his absence was due to an entirely different reason – one that was on his own accord.

“Fuck I look like gettn took off da tour,” he wrote with a laughing emoji. “I’m locked in gettn this music in order for this album. I’m tryna drop that trapping and finessing joint!”

The pair linked up in 2022, with Future appearing on two tracks on Richey’s debut project, Public Housing. The star-studded affair also features appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Kodak Black and Lil Durk.
After filming the music video for PH cut “Bullseye 2,” Future and Richey spent the afternoon at the Governor’s Square Mall in the latter’s hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, where they passed out $10,000 worth of shoes and clothes.

“If we’re going to be positive, if we’re going to make music, if we’re going to try to get everybody into a better lifestyle, everybody’s got to be willing to change,” Richey told the Tallahassee Democrat. “If not, you got to watch from the bleachers until your mind is made up.”
And following the project’s release, Future gifted Real Boston Richey an FBG chain.
Richey was one of a few guests scheduled to open on the six-city ‘One Big Party’ tour. The trek kicked off on Saturday (January 7) in Houston and will continue on Friday (January 13) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Losing an opening act aside, Future is riding high after a successful year. The Atlanta hitmaker became the only rapper to spend the entirety of 2022 on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing other rap superstars including Drake.

Pluto spent a total of 52 weeks atop the chart, aided in part by his ninth studio album I NEVER LIKED YOU. The chart-topping effort also included Apple Music’s most-streamed song of 2022 in “WAIT 4 U” featuring Drake and Tems.
