After being released from prison earlier this month for serving a sentence relating to sexual battery and extortion, Mystikal has decided to step his foot back in the rap game.
“I’m back. It almost feels like a dream,” he said in an interview with New Orleans’ radio station Q93. “Six years off the scene for most rappers, it would be over with, but it’s a new beginning for me. we can’t be foolish especially when you are blessed and successful. We gotta tighten up,” he continued.
The Grammy Award winning artist is slated to headline a Mardi Gras concert at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for Performing Arts. “Mystikal and Friends” is scheduled to take place February 16 with ticket prices starting at $36.
