Rap Release Dates: Timbaland, Bun B, Kool G Rap & Necro, Cannibal Ox

More fall release dates were announced this week. Check out what’s new.

Virginia super producer Timbaland announced the title of his next studio album. The project, which was originally titled Shock Value 3 and later Rebirth, will now be titled Textbook Timbo. The announcement was made during Jay Z’s Magna Carta tour stop in Belgium. No release date is yet known.

Bun B is scheduled to release a collection of unreleased tracks created during the recording of Bun B’s 2010 album, Trill O.G. The project is titled Trill O.G.: The Epilogue and will be released on November 11.

Cannibal Ox is slated to release the long-awaited follow-up to their 2001 debut album, The Cold Vein. In an exclusive statement to HipHopDX, Vast Aire and Vordul Mega’s sophomore release, Eric Bayruns, the A&R representative who signed Cannibal Ox to iHipHopDistribution said the album is slated for 2014. There is no specific release date or title for the album known to the public yet.

Queens’ Kool G Rap and Brooklyn’s Necro will team up to release a collaborative album together. Once Upon A Crime is scheduled for release on November 19 and is entirely produced by Necro himself. The duo will also release under the group name “The Godfathers.”
