Rap Release Dates: Talib Kweli, RiFF RaFF, Action Bronson, Marco Polo

    Album release date news rolls on as new announcements were made this week.

    Talib Kweli announced that his new project, Gravitas is scheduled for a December 15 release. His sixth album is slated to feature production from OhNo, Q-Tip, Lord Quest and Rich Kidd, among others.

    Houston, Texas-based rapper RiFF RaFF is slated to release his debut album NEON iCON at the beginning of next year. Taking to Twitter recently, The Mad Decent Records artist said January 28, 2014 would be the release date for his album.

    Action Bronson gives fans a little more insight into when his Blue Chips 2 project will be released. The Flushing, Queens native said on Twitter last week that the album will be released “The First Day it rains in NOVEMBER.” He also said that the follow up to 2012’s Blue Chips will be a free release.

    Speaking of RiFF RaFF and Action Bronson, the two are slated to release a collaborative album. The project is reportedly titled Galaxy Gladiators. No word yet on when the album will be released.

    Marco Polo is slated to release his latest album toward the beginning of next monthPA2: The Director’s Cut is scheduled to drop on November 12 and according to a tracklisting provided in a press release, will feature guests Inspectah Deck, MC Eiht, King Tee, Masta Ace and A.G., among others.

    Jet Life co-founder Trademark Da Skydiver is slated to release his next album on November 19. Flamingo Barnes 2: Mingo Royale is a 14-song project scheduled to feature appearances from Odd Future’s Domo Genesis, Smoke DZA, Fiend and Hardo, among others.
