Rap Release Dates: Redman, Iggy Azalea, Wu Block, Swollen Members

    A few new release dates were announced this week, check out what’s new.

    Redman recently confirmed that he is working on numerous sequels of already released projects. In an interview with MTV, Red said he plans on working on and releasing How High 2Muddy Waters 2, and Blackout! 3 with Method Man. No release dates were mentioned just yet but some of the planned projects have been in limbo for a while, including Muddy Waters 2.

    Iggy Azalea recently announced that her next album will be released toward the end of next month. The New Classic is scheduled to hit shelves on April 22.

    Wu Block (members of Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block) are set to release a follow up of their first self-titled album. Wu Block 2 doesn’t have an official release date just yet but a track listing and artwork for the project we’re released last week only to be un-confirmed by a Greenstreets Entertainment representative.

    Swollen Members announce they are releasing a new album. Accompanying a new tour, Brand New Day is set to be released this summer through the relaunched Battleaxe Records. No publicly known release date is known just yet.

    1. The game needs some Redman right now. It’s been too long. Plus he needs to redeem himself after that Reggie Album. I can’t believe there’s still discussion of a How High 2 though? That movie is almost Detox status.

    2. Finally, some good Hip Hop albums are coming out this year.

      I’ve been waiting for High High 2 for the longest time just like anybody else. Universal Studios needs to stop bullshittin’ and give Meth & Red the rights.

      I laughed @ Dr. Dre – Detox. That will never come out. I hope it does, because I want them to do a Up In Smoke 2 Tour. I was too young for the 1st one.
