Attorney Michael Avenatti says he’s uncovered another sex tape featuring R. Kelly and an underage girl. Avenatti released a lengthy statement to his Twitter account on Thursday morning (February 14) explaining what he found.
“Included in the evidence recently uncovered and recovered is a VHS videotape of Mr. Kelly engaging in multiple sexual assaults of a girl underage,” the statement reads in part. “This tape, which is clear, is approximately 45 minutes in length and has never previously been publicly disclosed or, until recently, provided to law enforcement.
“Importantly, this conclusive video evidence is not the same evidence previously seen and used in connection with the prior criminal matter in which Mr. Kelly was charged nor does it depict the same instances of sexual assault.”
Avenatti added, “The time frame of sexual assaults depicted in the video is within the Illinois statute of limitations.”
In an interview with CNN, Avenatti — who is representing a man he calls a “whistleblower” — said he handed the tape to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago last weekend.
“My client knows the identity of the girl and R. Kelly,” Avenatti said. “He identified the two of them on the videotape. He worked for and has known R. Kelly for decades and he met the girl on a number of occasions.”
CNN was able to view the video and described two scenes: one apparently in a living room and another in a bedroom. A naked man who appears to be Kelly performs multiple sex acts with the girl. She calls him “daddy” multiple times.
Although it’s impossible to know the girl’s age from the video, the man believed to be Kelly and the girl both refer to her “14-year-old pussy” while engaging in the alleged lewd acts. The girl also refers to her genitalia as 14 years old six times.
During the video, the man asks the girl to urinate. After she does, he urinates on her, mirroring some of the alleged acts Kelly was arrested for in 2002 when he was 35. He was acquitted of child pornography charges in a trial six years later
The R&B star’s career has been shrouded in claims of sexual misconduct with minors and other crimes for over two decades. He’s been sued by multiple women who accuse him of having sex with them when they were underage.
He’s denied the accusations and all cases, with the exception of the aforementioned trial where he was acquitted, have been settled out of court.
Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly documentary reignited the #MuteRKelly movement upon its release last month.

Imagine being stupid enough to not only act on these perverted urges knowing the potential legal ramifications, but to video record yourself doing it. Not only that, but to refer on that video to the age of the person you are engaging with.
