Quality Control has taken care of the Atlanta community this holiday season with its annual Thanksgiving senior luncheon and Thanksgiving-themed Pop-Up Grocery Market.

In collaboration with Goodr, the luncheon went down on Monday (November 21) and served a total of 300 local senior citizens at Baptist Towers Senior Home.

The following day, the label (home to Lil Baby, Lil Yachty and more) held its pop-up market for an additional 300 pre-registered families, with each group being provided with Thanksgiving turkeys and all the trimmings for a complete holiday meal.

“We receive so many blessings on a daily basis and it’s important to us at QC to give back to our community and show love to those who need it,” QC CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas said in a statement.

“We are grateful to the heads of Quality Control for their ongoing commitment to giving back to their community,” Goodr CEO Jasmine Crowe added. “The impact we have made since our first activation is something we are very proud of at Goodr. Seniors especially hold a special place in my heart and we at Goodr look forward to bringing them some holiday spirit.”

This isn’t the first time Quality Control and Goodr have worked together. During the pandemic, Pee and QC COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee donated $100,000 to Goodr to help feed 1,000 families and since then have continued to come together to give back during the holidays.

It’s been a busy year for QC. In February, the label joined forces with SoundCloud to “discover new talent and revolutionize artist partnerships by empowering creatives with bespoke resources, tools and access.” As part of the deal, Pee and Coach K also invested in SoundCloud along with their Solid Foundation artist management team.

They also launched QC Sports just before 2022 began – a full-service sports division that has already attracted several NBA, NFL and MLB stars to its roster.

If that wasn’t enough, last December, QC established a partnership with production studio Critical Content to develop unscripted TV series for their roster of artists.
