Post Malone has teased a full pivot into country music with a new teaser featuring polarizing star Morgan Wallen.

On Wednesday (March 20), Posty took to Instagram to showcase his continued pivot towards the same genre getting a lot of love from fans of Beyoncé at the moment.

In the visual, the rapper-turned-popstar-turned-country singer can be seen drinking a Bud Light as he nods along to the track.

The “Congratulations” singer captioned the post: “Let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen [crying laughter emoji].”

Judging from the comments, fans are excited by the potential collaboration, with one person writing: “I’ve played this clip about 103 times in a row.”

Another added: “OH NOW WE COOKIN BOYS!!” A third concluded: “I cannot wait for this. This is the duo we NEEDED!”

Malone is not only expanding his empire into country music, but he recently added another credit to his growing filmography.

The “Circles” singer acts in the newly released reimagining of 1989’s Road House, starring Jake Gyllenhaal in the role that the late Patrick Swayze made famous. Malone stars in the role of “Carter.”

When the news was first announced, Gyllenhaal took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Post Malone. “A man of many talents. To say it was a pleasure working together is an understatement. Welcome to the #roadhouse @postmalone !” he wrote in the caption.

Though the singer is shifting his sights to Nashville, it’s one of his rap songs that continues to make waves.

He and Swae Lee cemented their place in the history books after they earned the first-ever song to achieve double diamond status.

Last month, the duo’s 2018 hit “Sunflower,” which was released as part of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack and later Post’s Hollywood’s Bleeding album, was certified 20x platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).

The historic plaque commemorated at least 20 million units sold in the U.S.

“Post Malone and Swae Lee have officially raised the bar on what creative partnerships and infectious collaborations have the power to accomplish,” Mitch Glazier, CEO and Chairman of the RIAA, said in a statement.
