Travis Scott‘s Circus Maximus Tour stop in Los Angeles this weekend proved to be a record-breaker, and it came with a surprise guest appearance from Playboi Carti.

On Sunday (November 5), La Flame became the first rapper to sell out SoFi Stadium and one of the highlights of the night came when Carti showed up and sent the raucous crowd into an absolute frenzy.

Scott implored DJ Chase B to run back “Fe!n” and then Carti surfaced onstage with a cigarette to provide live vocals for his catchy chorus and some ad-libbed screeches as the crowd chanted along.

Another fan-favorite moment happened when Scott brought out his five-year-old daughter Stormi Webster for a parasail ride across SoFi as he performed 2021’s “MAFIA.”

The SoFi show served as Scott’s largest tour crowd as he filled the 70,000+ capacity stadium for his first stadium performance. “I never thought of this dream coming true. This night has given me beyond chills,” he told the crowd.

The Circus Maximus Tour — which continues through December 29 — will continue this week with shows in Portland and Seattle; it closes with two shows in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

Even while on the road, Scott has kept busy on the music side. He recently joined Offset for “Say My Grace” and then appeared on Kid Cudi’s new single “At The Party” alongside Pharrell.

Following the arrival of Cudi’s forthcoming new album INSANO in January, he could turn his focus to his long-awaited joint album with Travis Scott, which is back on at least for now.

“Its def happening at some point,” Cudder responded to a Travis Scott fan page wondering about the album’s status over the summer. “Dont even trip.”

Kid Cudi wants to perfect the project’s vibe and make sure it’s a “moment for the culture” after making an appearance on UTOPIA cut “LOOOVE.”

“Hes just dropped,” Cudi added. “And we need to take the time to get it right. I wanna create a ton of songs and pick the tastiest ones and really make it a moment for the culture. We only get 1 first album, its gotta be the illest. For now, UTOPIA!”
