Planet Asia Celebrates 20 Years Rapping With “Dirty Planet” Album

    Planet Asia is celebrating 20 years in the rap game by blessing fans with some music. The veteran MC follows up August’s Anchovies LP with a new album called Dirty Planet, which is produced entirely by DirtyDiggs and hosted by comedian Affion Crockett.

    The 14-track release can be streamed for free, or purchased digitally or in a limited edition physical copy. Rasco, Tristate, Rozewood, Hus Kingpin, Flii Stylz, AA Rashid, OSKAMiLL, LarIna and Washeyi Choir make guest appearances on the project.

    1. I love Planet Asia but since 2014 he’s been doing a bunch of albums with several guest appearances by guys I’ve never heard of with unknown producers. It’s kind of a turn off tbh. Via Satellite was the last thing I listened to by him until the one with Apollo Brown over the summer.

      1. Yeah, but some of these unknown artists also included WestsideGunn and Conway way before they signed to Shady Records and Hus Kingpin and The Winners even before they were on any major hip hop blog. Maybe your missing out? … and that was all in 2014 lol.

      2. Real hip hop heads dont care if a rapper or producers unknown or not, all they care sbout is if they got dope beats and dope bars.

    2. Big Planet Asia fan. I still have a copy of his first album. I immediately bought the Planet Asia ep when I heard Handlin Bi and Rasco’s Take it Back Home on the Wake Up Show. Underground legend still killing the microphone.
