Offset & His Ferrari Superfast Avoid Speeding Ticket In L.A.

Offset might need to consider trading names with his Migos mate Takeoff after being pulled over for speeding for the second time this year. According to TMZ, Offset was stopped by sheriff’s deputies for going a little too fast in his brand new Ferrari 812 Superfast in West Hollywood on Monday (November 25).

The multi-platinum selling artist bought the bright red sports car last Thursday (November 21) to celebrate his 2020 Grammy Award nomination. His song “Clout” featuring his wife Cardi B is nominated for Best Rap Performance.

The Migos rapper was spotted taking his new whip for a spin in L.A. when he was stopped in a 35 mph zone for going just slightly over the posted speed limit. According to TMZ, the officer decided not to give Offset a ticket and let him ride off with a warning.

Offset had a similar encounter earlier this year that didn’t turn out so well.

In August, he was pulled over for speeding in Sandy Springs, Georgia but met a law enforcement officer who much less lenient. Bodycam footage from the incident showed a tense back-and-forth between the cop and Offset. He ended up getting three citations and more than $500 in fines for speeding and failure to maintain his lane.

    2. This is the problem with black rappers. Give him a few years from now, and when he goes broke, he will start creating drama with his record label and what not as if they forced him to spend the money this way.
