Offset has declared himself to be in album mode after initially delaying his sophomore solo LP following the tragic death of TakeOff last year.

The Atlanta native took to his Instagram Story over the weekend to let fans know he’s back in the studio working on his forthcoming LP.

“ALBUM MODE,” he captioned the post.

It was a busy weekend for Set who accompanied his wife Cardi B to The Vanity Fair Oscar Party and was spotted wearing a dapper black suit and a bejeweled mask covering his entire face ala Kanye West during the Yeezus era.

Offset previously delayed his upcoming LP to mourn the loss of TakeOff but got back to work and tested the waters with the Hit-Boy-assisted anthem “2 Live” in January.

The 31-year-old also cleared up some rumors over the weekend when Wack 100 claimed that J. Prince had been arrested and Offset was sent to protective custody as a result of their feud.

“Pussy wtf is this cap ass shit,” he commented on an Instagram post shutting down any thought that he’s been living under federal protection.

In response, J. Prince took to Instagram from a lounge chair in a location that was quite clearly not prison and denied any such reports.

“Ah man, what has this shit come down to in the world today?” he began. “I can’t believe people play with people[‘s] intelligence — the way they play with people intelligence and intellect. You know, the way they do today, people are telling lies for a living. You know what I mean? They actually lying to y’all for a living. But as you can see, live and in living color, this is what my jail cell look like.”

J. Prince and Offset previously had a war of words following TakeOff’s death in the Rap-A-Lot executive’s city of Houston. The latest update arrived in early February, when J called the Migos rapper a “fake muthafucka” and reminded him of their many interactions in the past.
