Offset has set the record straight after accusing Cardi B of cheating on him in a shocking post-and-delete to social media.

The Atlanta native joined Way Up With Angela Yee on Monday (July 31), where he admitted to lying about the cheating accusations regarding his “WAP” rapper wife in the Instagram Story from June.

“We going back and forth,” he began. “And if you’ve got a New York woman, you know she’s a pit bull at the mouth. She get crazy at the mouth a little bit, and I was really lit that night. I was lit.

“I had a little Casamigos and we was going back and forth and I’m like, ‘Watch this.’ And it’s like she got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day and she crazy, man. We’re crazy for each other.”

Instead of totally clearing the air on the situation and denying that Cardi cheated, Offset felt that simply deleting the post was enough.

“The delete is enough,” he said. “At the end of the day, them people don’t be really knowing what’s really going on with us for real.”

Cardi took to Twitter Spaces to share her side of the story last month after speculation and rumors flooded the internet.

“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of,” Cardi said. “Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey! Listen, Don’t pay attention to that countryman, y’all. That motherfucker’s spiraling, and thinking shit that isn’t true.”

Offset has been open about his infidelity in the past. Cardi B filed for divorce in September 2020 before the Migos rapper won her back later that year.

“When I did do that, I was in a different space,” he told Angela Yee of his former cheating ways. “I was young, I had just got married, I’m getting a lot of money. Really, it was communication.

“We had got married and our communication was good, but I wasn’t saying my wants and needs and vice versa. Sometimes you feel like you’ll bump heads when you’re not communicating … I was drunk, I was on different shit. I was on lean and shit.”

He continued: “I was making bad decisions and I was really realizing it was affecting my family instead of me thinking on my own, but all my growth, why you think she love me? All my growth, I done showed I’m not gonna do this. I’m a real one.”
