Nipsey Hussle’s Estate Reportedly Gets Final Appraisal

Nipsey Hussle was gunned down on March 31 outside of the Marathon Clothing Store in South Central, Los Angeles, leaving a gaping hole in the rap community that will never be filled. But prior to his death, the 33-year-old had already promised to take care of his family, especially his two children — Kross and Amani.

According to TMZ, that won’t be an issue. On Tuesday (December 8), Neighborhood Nip’s estate filed legal documents revealing the estate’s final inventory appraisal is valued at over $4 million — $4,169,088.57 to be exact.

The bulk of Nipsey’s money reportedly comes from his trademark portfolio, shares of companies he owned and personal items such as gold necklaces and Rolexes. Nip owned a 25 percent share of stock in The Marathon Clothing company worth roughly $271,000 and a 100 percent interest in All Money In No Money Out Inc., which is valued at around $2 million.

His trademark portfolio — which includes his name, voice, signature, photograph or likeness on or in products, merchandise or goods — is worth $913,000.

In April 2019, Nip’s family rejected funds raised by retired NFL star Reggie Bush who started a GoFundMe page for them. He was attempting to raise $100,000 for Emani and Kross and even contributed $10,000 of his own money to get it going. But after hearing from the family, he took the fundraiser down.

After all, Emani and Kross were reportedly already set for life. Not only did he own all of his master recordings at the time of his death, but he’d also set up multiple trust funds to ensure his family would never need any assistance. Judging by the final appraisal number, Nip left behind more than a legacy of music.

    1. That’s a problem with Bloods and Crips. They let anyone be from their hood even snitches. Shitty cuz was a certified snitch and they was still letting him come through their hood. Nipsey did the right thing by telling him he can’t be around Rollin 60s hood no more. But he shouldn’t had to be the one to tell him. Their youngsters should have rolled him out.
Or when bloods or crips PC up in prison they can still go back to their hood.

That shit don’t slide in Mexican gangs. Once you snitch on someone or PC up while in the pen you are exiled from the hood for life and you get whacked for going back to the hood.

      1. Why are you still saying the same bullshit that never happened ! He got snaked ! Court documents say exactly what happened! He never told buddy he can’t come this and that . They were having a convo everything seemed regular. He was telling him to watch out people out there saying this and that and after that they still had a good convo . He never checked him disrespected him . He got snaked , he did that shit out of knowhere. Most likely just built up hate and an opportunity. You really think Nip would check or say some shit like that then be out there defenseless with no care in world after that

        1. But thats exactly what happened. Nip checked Shitty Cuz for being a rat and still going through the hood. Nip wasnt strapped and any his homies with him werent strapped.

Shitty Cuz got mad cause he felt disrespected. Shitty cuz was a killer who put in work for 60s. So he was like the fuck you mean I cant be in the hood no more. So he came back and smoked Nipsey.

Thats how it is in black gangs in LA. They still let snitches and PCs kick it. Some of my family are south siders in LA. I have some cousins that are half black from Compton who bang a Piru set. Even they told me theres snitches in their gang and they dont agree with that shit. You could be a snitch but if you are ballin making hella drug money or you known for putting in work then the bloods and crips will still let you kick it. Thats just how they function.

          1. I get what you sayin. On the real though, Nip shudn’t have come thru the hood like that with no security with straps on em. Better still, he shudn’t have been blazin in an open space knowing it cud bring the wrong kinda attention. After he chopped it up with dude and dude left (to get the strap), he should’ve asked security to follow him n check him out. Now, all we see is dude and we automatically think he wacked Nip coz of they own beef but the truth is somebody already put a hit out for Nip. If you recall the weeks prior, he needed extra security on the DJ Khaled video set and the tweets that followed. Need I say, Bloods n Crips keep PCs and snitches around so that they can use them as pawns to put work in and work with the other side even though they don’t like to admit it.

            1. I’m 28 now. I don’t fuck around no more. I went to college and started a career. When I was banging my varrio it was unheard of to let homies who snitched or PC’d up still kick it in the hood. If you kicked it with a homeboy who snitched or PCd up you would get fucked up or jumped out.

When my black cousin told me the bloods and crips let snitches and PCs kick it still I was baffled. But that’s just how they get down I guess. He don’t like that shit in his hood but that’s just how it is.

          2. This is true Nip did tell cuz he can’t be around there no more and Nip also didn’t allow no guns at the store because of the police, he knew he was being watched and the police was trying to catch him up. I remember when Nip was 1st starting out he would roll thru with like a 100+ 60s and every time the police would wait until they all got in the spot, surround the club and then damn near arrest everyone. He got comfortable in his own hood, which he should be able to do, especially when you trying to fix up yo hood, he ain’t thinking someone from the set is bout to kill him, he had a pass from bloods/piru’s.

            1. Urban myth, Nipsey wasn’t trying to ‘fix up his hood’. All charities and movements are scamsn and those on top profit off it. He wasn’t gonna make shit happen in shithole LA while we got tyrants like Garcetti, Maxine Waters and now Commie Gascon in charge. RIP LA

    2. 4 million 40 yrs of 100k each divided?by 2?is 50k each which in california is nothing. Goodness i hope they invest wisely or get education for it isnt like nipsey hussle likeness or catalogue is 25m plus. Aye but its a huge start for nipsey understood. For those not lucky or born rich most wealth is created through generational wealth

      1. I don’t think it will just stop at 4 million, it seems they own his rights, they’ll be another album, a ep, documentary, merch will continue to sell, his likeness, interviews will continued to be used for others content, his music will be used in movies, shows, commercials, his old albums will be re-released . Also his label which I’m assuming is ran by his bro who seemed to be good at business based on what he was able to do with nip, will continue to develop artist, one artist could blow up and bring in a lot of revenue. So their is a chance that 4 mill could turn into 20 mill

        1. Lol relax he wasn’t that bankable or talented. Someone like Bob Marley could leave a legacy behind like that, not this used up gangster. He was worth more dead than alive, sure, but he will be forgotten once it’s not trendy to be up his ass anymore.
